Scholars Court is a sheltered housing complex for the over 55's which is situated on Durham Road in Newport.

It is within easy reach of local amenities and consists of 43 one-bedroom flats and 14 two-bedroom flats, each having a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

Communal facilities within the scheme include a laundry and communal lounge. There are two communal areas ready for planting in the Spring.

There is a scheme manager on duty from 9-5pm between Monday and Friday.

There is a Scholars Court Social Wellbeing Group with a committee who organises various activities.
