Why use respite?

If you are caring for a loved one or you have someone who cares for you, then from time to time you may need a break.

Respite care breaks can enable home-based carers the opportunity to take a holiday or a short break, confident that their relative or patient is in a safe and caring environment. Respite breaks can also support someone who is recovering from an illness or a stay in a hospital, with the assistance of professional carers.

What can we provide?

Linc offers hotel standard respite breaks in 7 of our extra Care Schemes across Newport, Cardiff and Blaenau Gwent as well as our 2 nursing homes in Cardiff. Our short breaks provide high-quality accommodation and facilities, in safe and welcoming environments. We encourage our guests to live independently, promoting wellbeing, dignity and choice. The schemes are staffed 24 hours a day and a variety of enjoyable activities are available on a regular basis.
