Extra Care Team Leader (Maternity Cover)
£31,946.00 per annum
37 Hours Per Week
Based At Llys Enfys, Llanishen, Cardiff, CF14 5FR
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader at Llys Enfys Extra Care scheme in Cardiff on an 11-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The contract would run until September 2025.
This is an opportunity for you to develop, learn and grow whilst delivering safe, effective and high-quality leadership within across 104 units of older persons accommodation, our largest Extra Care scheme.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the scheme, including ensuring residents can maximise their independence and quality of life whilst receiving the appropriate care and support for their needs. You will also be responsible for the management of the building, health & safety, the domestic services team and will take an active role in overseeing the inhouse catering service.
What we need from you:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and have good communication skills to develop positive working relationships with residents, contractors and stakeholders.
- Understanding of the core principles of active ageing, promoting healthy lifestyles and providing for nutritious meals and special dietary requirements.
- Knowledge of housing and/or have experience of working with older people within a Housing or Care environment (or equivalent relevant experience).
This role is ideal for someone wishing to gain experience in Extra Care and Older Persons Housing Services.
