1. Switch to LED Lighting 

One of the easiest and most cost-effective changes you can make is switching to LED or CFL bulbs. They use significantly less energy and last longer than traditional incandescent bulbs. Simply change the bulbs in your existing fixtures to start saving on lighting costs.  


2. Seal Gaps and Leaks 

While you may not be able to replace windows or modify insulation, you can use weatherstripping and draft stoppers to seal gaps around windows and doors. This helps prevent drafts and keeps your home more comfortable.  


3. Use Energy-Efficient Appliances 

When it's time to replace appliances like refrigerators or washing machines, look for energy-efficient models with the ENERGY STAR label. These appliances are designed to save energy and reduce utility costs.  


4. Unplug Electronics and Chargers 

Even when not in use, electronics and chargers can draw power in standby mode. Be sure to unplug them when they're not in use, or use power strips to easily disconnect multiple devices at once.  


5. Optimise Heating and Cooling
