Happy Pride Month!

Each June, people around the world celebrate Pride month. The event pays tribute to those involved in the Stonewall Riots and plays an important part in recognising the need for equal rights for people of all genders and sexual orientations.

While Pride continues to play a critical role in paving the way for progression, it is also a reminder to celebrate how far we have come and a time to reflect on what more we can do to ensure equality.

As we celebrate Pride month, I wanted to reinforce our Linc values; passionate, ambitious, and respectful, and our purpose; creating the right environment for people to flourish. Our values and purpose reflect our culture and influence how we run our business, as well as how we are planning our future. 

Recently, a new LGBTQ+ employee group has been created, whose members will lead the way in how we celebrate Pride and influence our policies and procedures to make sure the workplace is an equitable, respectful, and happy space for all. 

The group have just had a very positive first meeting and on behalf of the leadership team, we are thrilled to see this group set up and look forward to working with them and learning from them.
